Curricula

Public upper-secondary schools operate according to the National Curriculum Guide. The guide contains information about the goals and organisation of study programmes and subjects. There are also various regulations pertaining to the rights and obligations of students and schools.  The complete National Curriculum is available on the website of the Ministry of Education Science and Culture’s website at www.menntamalaraduneyti.is. Each school also has is its own school curriculum with  more extensive information about their activities, courses on offer, school rules and what services are available for students. School curriculums are on the website of each school.
